The adjustment layer is the safeguard layer or can be said as a protecting layer in the field of editing because the adjustment layer gives freedom to work independently and fearlessly in any footage without losing the quality of the original footage. Any work done in the adjustment layer can be removed or re-edit can be deleted and can work again it will not harm in original footage anyway. An adjustment layer is just like writing on a piece of paper with a pencil you can anytime erase it without getting destroying the paper. I guess this is the best example to describe an adjustment layer and the rest will be done via this video lesson.
